Mexic Arte is known as the official Mexican and Mexican-American fine arts museum of Texas. Creating an identity that expands to much more than a static symbol was my goal as well as representing the lively culture of artists with Mexican heritage. My inspiration for the characters are drawn from the famous "Alebrijes" which originate from Pedro Linares, who dreamt of these fantastical creatures while ill in bed.
